Kristin Urbach possesses a rich tapestry of experience across the operational for profit and nonprofit sectors, particularly her deep understanding of the offshore wind industry. As the former Executive Director of the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce, she established WindWinRI, an innovative offshore wind career pathway training system for youth and adults in collaboration with key educational and industry partners. She adeptly navigated the intersection of business and community interests. Her strategic collaborations within the offshore wind arena, coupled with her dedication to workforce development have been instrumental in propelling America’s rapid growth in the sector, including the Block Island Wind Farm, the nation’s first offshore wind farm.
