Executive Director Kristin Urbach invited to share her expertise at Chicago’s Sustainability Summit
Executive Director Kristin Urbach’s expertise in the renewable energy sector will again be on display at the prestigious Sustainability Delivery Summit in Chicago June 9-11.
Kristin was invited to participate on the Enabling & Funding Energy Security panel, which will examine how utilities are planning to incorporate renewables. The panel also will discuss funding mechanisms for large-scale energy projects and mitigating the associated costs and risks to facilitate development.
Kristin will be joined by Jeff Hanson, Director of Environmental Services and Corporate Sustainability at Alliant Energy, and Gary Greenblatt, Vice Chairman, Senior Managing Director at Marathon Capital.
“The invitation to speak at this premier conference is another indication of Connecticut’s role as a national leader in developing the sustainable energy supply chain that will increase our domestic energy output while combatting climate change,” Kristin said.
The conference will draw more than 300 experts in renewable energy and is described as the only event to take a practical approach to unlocking the multiple benefits that sustainable energy provides for communities, businesses, and the environment.
